Using Spore Bombs, Creeper Spore Sacks, and Mischief Arrows

Spore Bomb Basics

Spore Bomb is a placeable block. Set it where you want a burst of Creeper Spores, then trigger the area and retreat. The blast spreads spores that damage and disorient anything caught in the cloud, making it useful for clearing a room before you walk in or for softening a Griefer Spawn Egg encounter.

Farming Spores

Creeper Spore Sack is the renewable source. Place sacks in a contained room — Gloomy Tile Walls and Blast-Proof Plates both work as containment — and harvest Creeper Spores from them. Stockpile spores so you always have material for more Spore Bombs. Keep Griefer Boots on while working near sacks so stray bursts do not knock you around.

Mischief Arrows

Mischief Arrow is your ranged option. Fire it to apply a disruptive effect at distance, then follow up with a Spore Bomb thrown into the same spot. The combination lets you control a fight without ever standing next to the target. Carry a stack of Mischief Arrows alongside Spore Bombs whenever you expect Trickster or Executioner Spawn Egg mobs. If a target survives the spores, switch to the Cleaver of Beheading to finish it and collect the head.
