Handling Creeper Spores and Spore Bombs

The Spore Chain

Creeper Spore Sack is a block. Creeper Spores and Spore Bomb are the items tied to it. Spore Bomb is also a block. The chain starts when a Creeper Spore Sack is present, and the spores and bomb are what you use to spread or clear the effect.

Crafting the Tools

Spore Bomb is made with a crafting recipe. Mischief Arrow is also craftable and is the ranged option for dealing with spore situations from a distance. Both are shaped or shapeless recipes depending on the item, so check your recipe book after picking up the ingredients.

Step-by-Step

1. Locate a Creeper Spore Sack in the world. Do not stand next to it without Griefer armor equipped.

2. Craft a Spore Bomb if you want to detonate or relocate the spore effect. Place it like a block.

3. Craft Mischief Arrows if you would rather trigger spores from range instead of walking up to them.

4. Surround the area with Blast-Proof Plating, Blast-Proof Slab, or Blast-Proof Stairs before setting off a Spore Bomb so the blast does not destroy your build.

5. Wear the full Griefer set — Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots — while working around Creeper Spores.

Clear the sack first, then detonate. Doing it in the other order spreads spores into blocks you have not protected yet.
