Optimize Performance While Using Shaders
Reduce Render Distance if Needed
Shader packs are computationally intensive. If you experience frame rate drops, lower your render distance in Video Settings. Start by reducing it by a few chunks and test performance.
Disable Intensive Shader Features
Return to Shader Options and look for advanced visual features like ambient occlusion, volumetric lighting, or high-quality reflections. Disabling or lowering these can significantly improve frame rates while maintaining the core SapphireShaders aesthetic.
Adjust Shadow Resolution
Shadow quality directly impacts performance. Lowering shadow map resolution or shadow distance reduces the computational load without removing shadows entirely.
Monitor and Balance
Use F3 debug screen to check your frame rate while adjusting settings. Aim for a balance between visual quality and playable performance. Different hardware will handle shaders differently, so your optimal settings may differ from others.
