Adjust Lighting and Shadow Intensity

Access Shader Settings

Open the Shader Options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your controls settings). Navigate to the SapphireShaders section to find lighting adjustment sliders.

Customize Shadow Depth

Look for shadow-related options such as "Shadow Distance" or "Shadow Intensity." Increasing these values will make shadows more pronounced and darker, while decreasing them creates softer, lighter shadows. This is useful if you find certain biomes too dark or washed out.

Tune Daytime Brightness

Find the brightness or exposure slider to adjust how bright your world appears during the day. If you're experiencing glare or find the lighting too dim, these controls let you balance illumination to your preference without changing Minecraft's actual game brightness.

Apply and Test

After adjusting settings, move around your world to see how different biomes and lighting conditions respond. Changes apply in real-time, so you can fine-tune until the visual balance feels right for your gameplay style.
