How to Use Cutting Boards and Kitchen Knives
Pick a board and knife
Cutting Boards come in many wood and stone variants: Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, Cherry, Bamboo, Crimson, and Warped Cutting Board, plus Andesite, Basalt, Blackstone, Copper, Diorite, and Granite Basin are separate blocks. Place any Cutting Board down and right-click it with a Kitchen Knife in hand.
Chop ingredients
Kitchen Knives come in Stone, Glass, Iron, Golden, Diamond, and Netherite Kitchen Knife. Hold the knife and interact with the board to process items into chopped forms. Chopping raw vegetables gives you items like Cooked Chopped Carrot, Cooked Chopped Onion, Cooked Chopped Beetroot, and Cooked Tomato Slice after cooking, while meats become Cooked Pork Cuts, Cooked Chicken Filet, Cooked Cod Filet, or Cooked Salmon Filet. Bacon Strips are also prepared this way.
Move chopped items to the table
Carry your chopped and cooked results to a Sandwich Table and add them as fillings. Better knives let you process tougher ingredients, so upgrade from Stone Kitchen Knife to Iron, Diamond, or Netherite Kitchen Knife as materials allow. Keep a spare board near your Sandwich Table so prep and assembly stay in one spot.
