How to Grow Cucumbers and Tomatoes from Seeds

Get the seeds

Cucumber Seeds and Tomato Seeds are the two crop seeds. Obtain them from your world's loot or by processing the relevant produce, then plant them on farmland like any other crop.

Plant and grow

Place Cucumber Seeds and Tomato Seeds on hydrated farmland with light. Let them mature through their growth stages. Once fully grown, harvest the cucumbers and tomatoes. Replant the seeds to keep a continuous supply.

Prepare them for sandwiches

Raw cucumbers and tomatoes need processing before they go on a sandwich. Take them to a Cutting Board with a Kitchen Knife — Stone, Glass, Iron, Golden, Diamond, or Netherite Kitchen Knife — and chop them. Cook the chopped results to get Cooked Tomato Slice and other cooked chopped vegetables such as Cooked Chopped Carrot, Cooked Chopped Onion, and Cooked Chopped Beetroot. Bring the finished items to a Sandwich Table and add them as fillings alongside Salt, Mayonnaise Bottle, or a Cheese Culture Bottle product.
