Break Down Complex Tools and Armor

Salvage Crafted Gear

Tools and armor made from multiple ingredients can be fully deconstructed back into their component materials using the Salvage Table.

1. Craft or obtain the tool or armor piece you want to break down

2. Right-click your Salvage Table to open it

3. Place the tool or armor into the input slot

4. The preview grid will display all the original crafting ingredients arranged in their recipe pattern

5. Remove items from the grid one at a time to collect your materials

What Gets Returned

The Salvage Table only works with items that have a single, standard crafting recipe with no leftover byproducts. Enchanted items, damaged tools, or gear with special properties may not salvage correctly. The table reads the base recipe, so you'll always get back the raw materials used to craft it originally—perfect for recovering valuable resources when you decide to change your equipment setup.
