Check mod compatibility

The Salmon Hunger Bar pack is designed to work with popular food mods like Farmer's Delight. Verify that your installed mods use standard hunger bar rendering systems rather than custom interfaces that bypass the default food display.

Load resource pack in correct order

Place the Salmon Hunger Bar pack high in your resource pack list (closer to the top). This ensures its textures override default hunger icons without being overridden by other packs. In the resource pack menu, drag it above any conflicting packs.

Test with AppleSkin

If using AppleSkin for food value previews, the salmon pack should display saturation overlays correctly. Open your inventory and hover over food items to confirm the saturation meter appears alongside salmon icons.

Troubleshoot conflicts

If certain food mods show drumsticks instead of salmon, those mods may use custom hunger rendering. Check mod documentation or disable conflicting visual mods to restore salmon icons across all food sources.
