Verify resource pack format compatibility

The Salmon Hunger Bar pack uses standard Minecraft resource pack structure, which works across Forge, Fabric, and Quilt. Confirm your pack's pack.mcmeta file specifies a compatible pack format version for your loader.

Test on your specific loader

Load Minecraft with your mod loader and resource pack enabled. Open your inventory and check that salmon icons appear on the hunger bar. If they don't, the pack may need format adjustments for that loader.

Check for conflicting mods

Some mods override GUI rendering. If salmon icons don't appear, disable mods one at a time to identify conflicts. Mods that heavily modify the inventory or HUD are common culprits.
