Customize salmon colors to match your resource pack theme
Locate the texture files
Navigate to the resource pack folder and find the hunger bar textures. These are typically stored in a textures/gui subdirectory. Look for files named after hunger or food icons.
Edit salmon sprite colors
Open the salmon texture files in an image editor like Aseprite or GIMP. You can recolor the salmon sprites to match your preferred aesthetic—try pastels for a calm theme, vibrant colors for a fantasy look, or grayscale for minimalism.
Preserve icon clarity
Keep contrast high between the salmon and the background bar so hunger levels remain readable at a glance. Test your changes in-game by opening your inventory and checking the food bar under different lighting conditions.
Save and reload
Save your edited textures back into the resource pack folder using the same filenames. Reload your resource packs in-game (F3 + T on most setups) to see changes instantly without restarting Minecraft.
