Setting Up Your First S-Bahn Station
Planning Your Station Layout
Before placing tracks, decide whether you want a single-platform or multi-platform station. The BR 481, BR 483, and BR 485 trains all use standard gauge tracks, so they're compatible on the same rail network. Consider your station's purpose: commuter hub, terminus, or passing station.
Building the Platform
Create a platform at least one block higher than your track level so passengers can board realistically. Leave enough space beside the tracks for the train models to display without clipping into walls. If building indoors (like the tunnel stations shown in the pack's screenshots), ensure your ceiling is high enough—the trains have detailed roofs and pantographs that need clearance.
Adding Atmosphere
Use the pack's lighting features: the trains have glowing headlights, so position them to illuminate platforms at night. Add station furniture like benches and signage around your platform. The detailed interiors of the train cars mean players can look inside, so keep your track area clean and well-lit for the best visual effect.
Connecting Multiple Stations
Once your first station works, extend your tracks to create a network. The authentic Berlin aesthetic works best with multiple interconnected stations rather than isolated lines.
