Use Dice Rolls for Roleplay Actions
Rolling Dice for Tabletop-Style Events
The dice roll system lets you resolve uncertain actions during roleplay events. Instead of deciding outcomes arbitrarily, roll dice to add chance and fairness to combat, skill checks, or other scenarios.
How to Roll Dice
1. Type /roll <dice> in chat, replacing <dice> with your desired die type
2. Common formats: /roll d6 (six-sided), /roll d20 (twenty-sided), /roll d100 (percentile)
3. The result appears in chat for all nearby players to see
4. Use the outcome to resolve your roleplay action
Practical Examples
- Combat check:
/roll d20to determine if your attack lands - Skill test:
/roll d6for a simple pass/fail scenario - Multiple dice: Some servers support
/roll 2d6for rolling multiple dice at once
Tips
- Agree with other players or staff beforehand on what dice rolls mean
- Higher rolls typically indicate success; lower rolls indicate failure
- Staff can customize die sides for specific events or server rules
