How to Use Standing Stones

Placing a Standing Stone

A Standing Stone is a block. Place it in the world and it projects an area effect around itself. The base Standing Stone and Mundane Standing Stone are the plain versions; the specialised stones each do one job.

The Specialised Stones

Each variant applies a different effect in its radius:

  • Accelerating Standing Stone — speeds up processes in range.
  • Growing Standing Stone — pushes plant growth in range.
  • Healing Standing Stone — restores health to entities in range.
  • Igniting Standing Stone — sets fire in range.
  • Entangling Standing Stone — roots or slows entities in range.
  • Repulsing Standing Stone — pushes entities away.
  • Vacuum Standing Stone — pulls entities or items in.
  • Attuned Standing Stone — the tuned variant used in advanced setups.

Attunement

To get an Attuned Standing Stone, you tune a stone using the mod's powders and the Imbuer. The Imbuer is the block that applies attunement. Feed it the required Growth Powder, Spell Powder, or Mutating Powder along with the stone.

Practical Setup

1. Craft a plain Standing Stone.

2. Decide which effect you want.

3. Use the Imbuer with the matching powder to produce the specialised stone.

4. Place it where the effect matters — a Growing Standing Stone over a farm, a Healing Standing Stone near your base, a Repulsing Standing Stone at a chokepoint.

5. Stack multiple stones if you want overlapping effects.

Stones are passive. Once placed, they run continuously without fuel.
