How to Craft and Equip Sylvan and Wildwood Armor

Sylvan Set

The Sylvan armor set consists of four pieces:

Sylvan Hood
Sylvan Robe
Sylvan Tunic
Sylvan Boots

Craft each piece at a crafting table. The Sylvan set is the lighter, caster-oriented armor. Wear the full set to get its full effect rather than mixing pieces.

Wildwood Set

The Wildwood armor set is the heavier counterpart:

Wildwood Mask
Wildwood Plate
Wildwood Leggings
Wildwood Boots

Craft these the same way, at a crafting table. Wildwood trades mobility for protection.

Which to Wear

Choose based on what you are doing:

Doing rituals, casting, and standing-stone work? Wear Sylvan.
Fighting mobs and exploring? Wear Wildwood.

Do not mix half a set of each unless you specifically want a compromise. The full-set bonuses are the reason to craft them.

Materials

Both sets are crafted from mod materials gathered through the Mortar and Pestle and from plants grown with Growth Powder and Mutating Powder. Stockpile Spell Powder and the flowers you have mutated before you start, so you are not stopping mid-craft to farm.

Craft the four pieces of your chosen set, equip them all, and then move on to the Casting Altar and Staff line.
