How to Smelt and Blast Candy Items

Using a Furnace

Several candy items can be processed in a furnace. The mod registers smelting recipes, so place your candy ingredient in the top slot of a furnace and a fuel source in the bottom slot. The output depends on which candy item you smelt. Smelting is the slower option but works with any standard furnace, including the ones you already have in your base.

Using a Blast Furnace

The mod also registers blasting recipes. A blast furnace processes the same candy inputs faster than a regular furnace, at the cost of requiring fuel at the same rate. If you are converting candy items in bulk, build a blast furnace and feed it the same ingredients you would put in a normal furnace. Keep a chest of fuel next to it so you do not have to stop mid-batch.

What to Process

Smelting and blasting are useful when you want to convert raw candy items into their processed forms without using a crafting table. Because the recipes are registered as both smelting and blasting, you can choose either station depending on what you have built. If you only have a regular furnace, smelt. If you have a blast furnace, blast for speed. Do not mix the two stations in one batch unless you want to compare output timing.
