Maintain Original Block Colors and Textures

Verify Color Preservation Settings

This shader is designed to preserve vanilla block colors by default. Open shader settings and confirm that any color saturation, hue shift, or color grading options are set to neutral or disabled.

Check for Color Filters

Look for options labeled "color correction," "saturation," or "color grading." These should be:

  • Saturation: Set to default (usually 1.0 or 100%)
  • Color filters: Disabled or set to neutral
  • Hue shift: Disabled

Disable Unwanted Post-Processing

If the world appears tinted or oversaturated, disable any post-processing effects beyond bloom and foliage animation. This shader focuses on lighting and animation, not color alteration.

Confirm Block Appearance

Walk through your world and compare blocks to screenshots or your memory of vanilla Minecraft. Grass, dirt, stone, wood, and ores should appear in their original colors. If colors look off, reset shader settings to defaults and reapply only bloom and animation adjustments.

The mod's philosophy is enhancement, not transformation.
