Enable or Disable Foliage Animation

Open Shader Configuration

Access the shader settings menu in-game. Navigate to the animation or foliage section of the options.

Toggle Waving Effects

Find the foliage animation toggle or waving leaves option. This controls whether leaves, tall grass, crops, and similar blocks sway gently:

  • Enabled: Leaves and grass move with a subtle wind effect, creating a more dynamic world
  • Disabled: All foliage remains stationary for a more traditional look

Adjust Animation Speed (Optional)

If your shader offers an animation speed slider, you can control how quickly foliage sways. Slower speeds create gentle, realistic movement, while faster speeds produce more noticeable waves.

Test Performance Impact

Waving foliage is lightweight on low-end systems, but if you notice frame rate drops, disabling it can help. Check your FPS before and after toggling the effect to confirm performance remains smooth.

Your setting saves automatically.
