Using Ring of Flight and Ring of Slow Falling Safely

Flight Basics

Equip Ring of Flight in your ring slot to gain aerial movement. While it is active you can lift off the ground and travel over terrain, water, and lava without building bridges. Watch your altitude when crossing oceans or ravines — losing the ring mid-air drops you immediately.

Pairing With Slow Falling

Ring of Slow Falling is the safety net for any flight session. Equip it when you expect to descend from height, whether from a flight trip, a cliff, or a build project. The combination logic is simple: fly with Ring of Flight, then swap to Ring of Slow Falling before you drop, so the descent is controlled rather than a fall.

Useful routines:

• Ring of Flight to cross a ravine, then Ring of Slow Falling to land on the far side
• Ring of Slow Falling while mining downward from a high ledge
• Ring of Flight to reach a floating structure, Ring of Slow Falling to step off safely

If you also carry Ring of Steadfast Steps, you can move across uneven ground after landing without slipping. Keep both rings in your hotbar-adjacent inventory space so swapping takes one click.
