How to Craft and Equip Rings in Rings of Ascension

Getting Your First Ring

Every ring in this mod is worn in a dedicated ring slot rather than your main armor slots. Craft the base ring component first, then combine it with the material that matches the effect you want. The material you add determines which of the 27 rings you receive — for example, pairing the base with a water-related material points toward Ring of Water Breathing or Ring of Water Walking, while a fire-related material points toward Ring of Fire Resistance or Ring of Lava Sponge.

Equipping and Swapping

Once crafted, open your inventory and place the ring into its slot. Only one ring is active at a time, so choose based on the task at hand:

• Ring of Mining before a cave run
• Ring of Night Vision when exploring unlit areas
• Ring of Water Breathing before diving
• Ring of Fire Resistance before entering the Nether
• Ring of Regeneration or Ring of Max Health for sustained combat

To change effects, remove the current ring and insert a different one. Keep a small stockpile of situational rings in a chest near your base so you can swap quickly before heading out. Rings that share a material theme — such as Ring of Sponge and Ring of Lava Sponge — are worth crafting as a pair so you always have the right clearing tool available.
