How to Set Up Matter Transmission
Building the Receiver End
Place a Matter Receiver where you want to arrive. Give it power by running Wire from your energy network. The receiver stores the destination; without power it cannot accept a teleport. Place a Dialing Device next to the receiver and power it too. The Dialing Device is the control point you interact with to select destinations.
Building the Transmitter End
Place a Matter Transmitter at your departure point and power it with Wire. The transmitter is what sends you. A Charged Porter is the portable alternative: charge it, then use it to dial a receiver directly without standing at a fixed transmitter.
Dialing and Arriving
Right-click the Dialing Device to open its destination list. Receivers you have placed and powered appear as selectable targets. Choose one and confirm; you are moved to that receiver. Use a Simple Dialer for a compact dialing control if you do not need the full Dialing Device interface. A Destination Analyzer placed near a receiver reports whether the destination is valid and powered before you commit to the jump. Keep every receiver powered at all times, or dialing to it will fail. For one-way travel, a Matter Transmitter plus a Dialing Device is enough; for round trips, place a receiver and dialing device at both ends.
