How to Craft and Place a Modular Storage Block

Crafting the block

Modular Storage is the core block of the mod. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe. Gather the ingredients shown in your recipe viewer for the Modular Storage entry, arrange them in the crafting grid in the required pattern, and collect the finished block.

Placing and opening it

Place the Modular Storage block on the ground like any normal block. Right-click it to open its interface. The interface is where you insert items, view stored contents, and manage the storage network.

Expanding capacity

A single Modular Storage block holds a limited amount of items on its own. To grow it, you add Tier 1 Storage Module items into the block's module slots. Each Tier 1 Storage Module you insert increases the storage capacity of the block. Open the interface, place a Tier 1 Storage Module into an available module slot, and the capacity increases immediately.

Practical use

Use Modular Storage as a compact chest replacement. Because it accepts modules, you can scale it up over time instead of building rows of chests. Keep spare Tier 1 Storage Module items on hand so you can expand the block whenever it fills up.
