How to Generate Power with the Coal Generator

Fueling and Placement

Place a Coal Generator and feed it coal. It converts fuel into power that other machines draw from. Connect it to your power network using Powercell (Low) or a Dimensional Cell so the energy has somewhere to go. Without a storage or transport block adjacent or linked, the generated power has no destination.

Storing and Monitoring Output

Route the Coal Generator's output into a Powercell (Low) for short-range buffering, or into a Dimensional Cell for larger capacity. Use a Power Monitor or Power Level block on the network to read how much power is stored and how much is flowing. A Powercell Card lets you move or link powercell configurations between setups.

Scaling Up

When a single Coal Generator cannot keep up, add more generators feeding the same storage. If you need higher-tier generation, move to the Blazing Generator, which uses the Blazing Agitator and Blazing Infuser in its production chain. For endgame output, the Endergenic generator and Pearl Injector form a separate power path. Keep every generator connected to the same Dimensional Cell or Powercell network so all stored power is available to your machines.
