Storing and Moving Fluids with the Multi Tank

Place the Multi Tank

Place a Multi Tank block. It holds multiple fluid types at once, unlike a single-fluid tank. Each internal slot accepts one fluid, so you can keep several liquids separated in one block.

Fill and Drain via Nodes

Place a Node next to the Multi Tank and link it to your network. Use pipes or adjacent machines to push fluid into specific tank slots and pull fluid out. The Node exposes each slot so a Processor program can address them individually.

Control Flow with a Program Card

Write a Program Card in the Programmer that reads tank levels and moves fluid between slots or to other blocks. Load the card into a Processor connected to the Node. Use a Network Card for local routing or an Advanced Network Card for wider networks, and a Network Identifier to name the Multi Tank so the program targets the right block.

Monitor and Balance

Have the program compare fluid amounts across slots and trigger transfers when a slot runs low or full. Because the Multi Tank keeps fluids separate, you can route one liquid to a Crafting Station and another to storage without mixing. If a transfer stalls, verify the Node is linked, the target slot accepts that fluid, and the Processor is powered and running the card.
