How to Build and Program a Processor
Assemble the Processor
Place a Processor block. Open it and insert a CPU Core (B500, S1000, or EX2000) and a RAM Chip 8E. The CPU Core sets processing speed; the RAM Chip 8E provides working memory for running programs. Without both installed, the Processor cannot execute logic.
Write and Load a Program
Craft a Program Card and a Program Card-compatible workflow using the Programmer block. Place the Programmer, insert a Program Card, and define the operations you want the Processor to run. When the program is ready, move the Program Card into the Processor's card slot.
Connect Inputs and Outputs
Place a Node adjacent to the Processor and link it to the blocks you want to control or read. Use a Network Card in the Processor to communicate over the network, or an Advanced Network Card for extended routing. A Network Identifier helps you name and target specific network endpoints so the Processor's program addresses the right Node.
Power and Verify
Supply the Processor with the required power through your network. Once powered, the Processor reads the Program Card, executes each operation, and sends results through its Node or Network Card. If nothing happens, confirm the CPU Core and RAM Chip 8E are seated, the Program Card is inserted, and the Node is connected to a powered network.
