Using the Projector to Preview Shapes

Setting Up the Projector

Place a Projector block and open its interface. The Projector displays a holographic preview of a shape so you can verify placement before committing resources. Insert a Shape Card into the Projector. The Shape Card holds the shape definition, which you configure by right-clicking the card and selecting a shape type and dimensions.

Aligning the Preview

Once the Shape Card is inserted, the Projector renders the shape in the world. Adjust the Projector's position and the card's settings until the preview matches the area you intend to build or mine. The preview is non-destructive — nothing is placed or broken while previewing.

When the preview looks correct, move the same Shape Card into a Builder. The Builder reads the identical shape data, so the operation matches what you previewed. This workflow prevents wasted blocks and accidental terrain damage. If you need a different shape, reconfigure the Shape Card and reinsert it into the Projector to check again before running the Builder. The Projector and Builder share the Shape Card format, so a single card moves cleanly between preview and execution.
