How to Set Up an Information Screen

Placing the Screen

The Information Screen is a block that displays information about your RFTools Base machines. Place it on a wall or floor near the machines you want to monitor. It needs to be connected to a Machine Frame or Machine Base to read data from it.

Connecting and Configuring

1. Place a Machine Frame or Machine Base as the machine you want to monitor.

2. Place the Information Screen adjacent to or near that machine.

3. Use the Smart Wrench on the Information Screen to open its configuration.

4. Select which values the screen should display.

Reading the Screen

Once configured, the Information Screen updates live with the data from the connected machine. Use it to check status at a glance instead of opening each machine's interface.

Crafting the Screen

Craft the Information Screen from Infused Diamond and Infused Enderpearl combined with a Machine Base. Because it uses infused materials, set up your Machine Infuser first and produce Infused Diamond and Infused Enderpearl before crafting the screen.

Practical Tips

• Place one Information Screen per machine cluster so you can see everything at once.
• Keep a Smart Wrench nearby — you need it to change what the screen displays.
• If the screen shows nothing, verify it is connected to a placed Machine Frame or Machine Base.
