Finding and Locating Active Outbreaks
Searching for Outbreak Swarms
Outbreaks spawn in specific biomes that match the natural habitat of each Pokémon species. Travel through diverse terrain—forests, mountains, oceans, and deserts—to encounter active swarms. Outbreaks are visible as clusters of the same species in one location.
Using Biome Knowledge
Consult your knowledge of where each Pokémon naturally spawns in Cobblemon. Flying-type outbreaks will appear at appropriate heights but won't spawn on bedrock layers, keeping them accessible. Ground and cave-dwelling species appear in lower terrain. Water Pokémon concentrate near oceans and rivers.
Checking Spawn Levels
Outbreak creatures spawn at level ranges matching standard wild Cobblemon encounters for that biome. This means early-game outbreaks in starter biomes will have lower-level creatures, while remote biomes host higher-level swarms. Plan your route based on your team's current strength.
Efficient Exploration
Move systematically between biomes rather than randomly wandering. Keep notes of which species you've encountered and where. Since outbreaks are tied to specific locations and biomes, returning to previously cleared areas may spawn new outbreaks over time.
