Adjusting Shiny Rates During Outbreaks

Default Shiny Doubling

Outbreaks automatically double the base shiny rate compared to normal wild encounters. This means hunting outbreaks significantly increases your chances of finding shiny Pokémon without additional setup.

Custom Shiny Configuration

If you want different shiny rates, the data pack supports custom settings. Check your configuration files to adjust outbreak shiny multipliers. You can increase rates further for harder hunts or decrease them for a more challenging experience.

Target outbreaks when actively hunting for shinies. The doubled rate makes swarms far more efficient than random encounters.

Combining with Other Factors
