How to Use the Attractor to Pull Mobs and Items
Placing and Powering the Attractor
Craft an Attractor using the crafting_shaped recipe, then place it where you want a pull effect. The Attractor is a block, so it sits in the world like any other placed block. Once placed, it draws entities toward it. Position it at the end of a corridor, above a drop, or beside a trap so that anything pulled in ends up where you want it.
Practical Setups
Use the Attractor to gather dropped items into one spot instead of chasing them across the ground. Place it at the center of a room and let loose items slide toward it. For mobs, place the Attractor behind a fence or wall so mobs are pulled against the barrier and held there. Combine it with a Pusher nearby to move entities in a controlled direction: the Attractor pulls them in, the Pusher shoves them out along a chosen path.
Pairing With One Way Blocks
Place One Way or One Way Wall blocks between the Attractor and the target area. Entities move through the One Way in the allowed direction but cannot travel back, so the Attractor keeps feeding them forward. This gives you a one-directional flow: pull, pass through, cannot return. Build the One Way facing the direction you want travel, then place the Attractor on the entry side. Test with a single mob or item before scaling the build up.
