How to Build One-Way Passages With One Way and One Way Wall
Choosing Between One Way and One Way Wall
Both One Way and One Way Wall are blocks that allow movement in one direction only. Use One Way for open passages where you want entities to walk or be pushed through. Use One Way Wall when you need a barrier that still permits one-directional travel, such as a wall that lets mobs out but not back in. Craft each with its crafting_shaped recipe before building.
Laying Out a One-Way Route
Decide the direction of travel first. Place each One Way block so its allowed direction matches the route. Build the passage as a straight line or a series of segments, checking every block faces the same way. A single block placed backward blocks the whole route, so walk the path after building to confirm you can cross it.
Moving Entities Through
Place an Attractor on the entry side to pull mobs and items into the passage. Place a Pusher on the exit side to shove them further along. Because the One Way blocks prevent return travel, entities that enter cannot come back toward the Attractor. This creates a steady flow from entry to exit. For a wall-style separation, line up One Way Wall blocks so your base interior stays clear while anything inside is guided outward. Test with one mob before expanding the build.
