Preparing for Water Sections

Jungle Fortresses contain submerged passages connecting different areas. Bring a Water Breathing potion or enchanted helmet with Respiration to explore these safely. Alternatively, carry a bucket and blocks to create air pockets as you navigate.

Exploring Underwater Areas

Flooded tunnels often contain loot chambers and connect distant fortress wings. Swim carefully and watch for Drowned mobs patrolling the passages. Use torches placed on blocks to mark your route back to air. Some underwater sections lead to hidden treasure rooms or connect to above-water castle chambers.

If you run low on air, quickly place blocks upward to create a column to the surface, or use your bucket to create a temporary air pocket. Take your time—rushing leads to drowning. Collect any loot you find, but prioritize reaching air over exploring every corner on a single breath.
