Place and Activate Cameras

Position Security Cameras around your base perimeter or at key entry points. Cameras can be mounted on blocks and rotated to face specific directions. Once placed, they begin recording the area in front of them.

View Live Feeds

Craft a Security Monitor or use a portable camera viewer to access live feeds from placed cameras. The screen overlay shows you exactly what each camera sees in real-time. Switch between cameras to monitor multiple zones without moving.

Plan Camera Coverage

Place cameras at doorways, bridges, and storage areas to catch intruders before they reach valuable resources. The updated textures in Repolished Security make it easier to spot camera placement details and distinguish them from other blocks.

Combine with Other Defenses

Use camera feeds to coordinate with other Securitycraft defenses like lasers or tasers. Cameras don't damage intruders themselves—they're purely surveillance—so pair them with active defenses for complete protection. Position them high or in corners to avoid tampering.
