Diagnose Rendering Problems When Using RenderLib
Check the Log File
After launching the game, open your latest.log file in the .minecraft folder. Search for errors containing "RenderLib" or "render". Common issues include:
- Missing dependencies or incompatible mod versions
- Conflicts with other rendering or optimization mods
- Graphics card compatibility problems
Test in Isolation
Remove all mods except RenderLib and launch the game. If it runs smoothly, add mods one at a time (especially EntityCulling or Nothirium) to identify which combination causes problems.
Verify Mod Compatibility
Confirm that:
- RenderLib is installed in the mods folder
- All dependent mods (EntityCulling, Nothirium) are also present
- No two mods are trying to modify the same rendering systems
If crashes persist, RenderLib may not be compatible with your other installed mods. Try removing visual optimization mods and test again. RenderLib itself should load without errors even when used alone.
