Combine RenderLib with Nothirium for Enhanced Visuals
Prepare Your Mod Setup
Install RenderLib first, then add the Nothirium port mod to your mods folder. Both mods must be present for Nothirium's visual enhancements to work properly. RenderLib provides the rendering infrastructure that Nothirium depends on.
Launch and Test
Start your game and load a world. Nothirium will now have access to RenderLib's tile entity and entity rendering updates. You should see visual improvements in how mobs and block entities (like furnaces, chests, or custom blocks) are rendered.
Troubleshoot Visual Issues
If textures appear broken or entities look incorrect:
- Ensure your graphics driver is up to date
- Check that no other mods are overriding entity or tile entity renderers
- Verify both mods are the correct version for 1.8.9
RenderLib modernizes the rendering pipeline for older versions, but it works best when no conflicting visual mods are present.
