Open Reflection Settings

Access the shader configuration menu and navigate to the reflection or water quality section. Refract Shaders offers adjustable reflection detail levels.

Choose Reflection Quality

Select your preferred reflection fidelity. Higher settings show more detailed reflections of sky, clouds, and nearby terrain on water surfaces, but demand more GPU power. Lower settings reduce reflection complexity while keeping the effect visible.

Test in Different Environments

Visit a large body of water during both day and night. Check how the sky and surrounding blocks reflect on the surface. Adjust settings if reflections feel too sharp, blurry, or performance drops noticeably.

Balance Performance and Visuals

If your frame rate drops significantly, lower reflection quality incrementally. The mod is designed to run on medium-tier systems, so you should maintain playable performance even at higher reflection settings. Save your configuration and monitor performance over time.
