How to Transfer Energy with Refined Pipes

Choose an energy pipe tier

Energy pipes come in Basic Energy Pipe, Improved Energy Pipe, Advanced Energy Pipe, Elite Energy Pipe, and Ultimate Energy Pipe. Each is crafted with a shaped recipe. Higher tiers carry more energy per tick, so use the tier that matches your generator output and machine demand.

Wire up the network

Energy pipes connect to each other and to any energy-accepting or energy-providing block they touch.

Steps:

1. Place energy pipes in a line from the energy source to the machine or storage you want to power.

2. Make sure every pipe segment touches the next one so the network is continuous.

3. Confirm the final pipe touches the destination block.

Energy pipes do not need an Extractor Attachment to move power; the attachment items are for item and fluid extraction. Keep energy pipes separate from item and fluid lines so each network stays clean.

If a machine is not receiving power, check that the pipe line reaches it and that the source block is actually producing energy. Upgrading the whole line to a higher tier pipe (for example from Basic Energy Pipe to Improved Energy Pipe) increases how much energy the line can carry.
