How to Link Switches Across Distance with Switch Link Blocks

Choose transmitter and receiver

Place an Industrial Switch Link Transmitter at the control point and an Industrial Switch Link Receiver at the device you want to control. For a pulse-only link, use an Industrial Switch Link Pulse Transmitter with an Industrial Pulse Switch Link Receiver. For analog values, use an Industrial Analog Switch Link Transmitter with an Industrial Analog Switch Link Receiver. Cased variants — Industrial Cased Switch Link Receiver and Industrial Cased Pulse Switch Link Receiver — work the same way but with a different appearance.

Pair and wire

Attach a Switch Link Pearl to the transmitter and receiver to pair them. Once paired, a redstone signal into the transmitter's input appears at the receiver's output. Run dust from your Industrial Lever, Glass Button, or Rustic Button into the transmitter, and run dust from the receiver to your Alarm Lamp, Alarm Siren, or machine input.

The pulse variants send a single pulse per trigger, which suits Industrial Foot Button or Industrial Contact Mat inputs. The analog variants carry a variable signal, which suits Industrial Dimmer or Industrial Comparator Switch outputs. Use one transmitter with multiple receivers to control several devices from a single switch.
