How to Build a Timed Signal with Interval Signal Timers

Place the timer

Set down a Glass Interval Signal Timer or an Industrial Interval Signal Timer where you want a repeating pulse. Both blocks emit a redstone signal on a repeating interval. The glass version is transparent; the industrial version matches industrial builds.

Wire the output

Run redstone dust from the timer's output face to whatever you want to pulse: an Alarm Lamp, an Alarm Siren, a Red LED Redstone Indicator, or a machine input. The timer pulses the line on its interval, so the connected block activates and deactivates automatically.

To gate the timer so it only runs during the day, place a Glass Day Timer Clock or an Industrial Day Timer Clock next to it and wire the clock's output into the timer's enable input. The clock enables the timer during daylight and disables it at night. For weather-based gating, use an Industrial Rain Sensor or an Industrial Thunderstorm Detector in the same way.

To stop the timer manually, place an Industrial Lever or a Glass Button between the timer and its target. Flipping the lever cuts the pulse line without disturbing the timer's internal cycle.
