Using Flux-Infused Gear, Plating, and Storage Blocks

Why Components Matter

Many Redstone Arsenal recipes will not accept raw Flux-Infused Ingots. They require shaped components instead. Knowing which component each recipe needs saves you from wasting materials.

The Component List

• Flux-Infused Nugget: smallest unit, used where a recipe calls for a fraction of an ingot.
• Flux-Infused Gear: mechanical part for tools and moving pieces.
• Flux-Infused Plate: flat sheet, used in armor and reinforced recipes.
• Flux-Infused Plating: heavier sheet, used in the armor set and shield.
• Flux-Infused Obsidian Rod: upgraded handle for higher-tier tools.
• Flux-Infused Coin: standalone currency item.

Storage Blocks

Two blocks compress your raw materials:

• Flux-Infused Metal Block stores Flux-Infused Ingots.
• Flux-Infused Gem Block stores Flux-Infused Gems.

Craft these when your chests fill up. They also serve as decorative building blocks if you want a flux-themed base.

Flux-Infused Path

Flux-Infused Path is a placeable block. Use it to lay roads, floors, or walkways around your base. It does not require a tool to place and can be crafted in quantity once you have the base materials.

Workflow

1. Smelt Flux-Infused Dust into Flux-Infused Ingots.

2. Craft Obsidian Rods.

3. Decide your target item, then craft only the components that recipe needs: Gear, Plate, Plating, or Flux-Infused Obsidian Rod.

4. Compress leftovers into Flux-Infused Metal Block or Flux-Infused Gem Block.

5. Place Flux-Infused Path where you want permanent flooring.

This keeps your inventory clean and your crafting sessions short.
