How to Make Purple Arrows

Gathering the Materials

Purple Arrow is a special ammunition item. To produce it you combine standard arrow materials with a Ruby, the mod's gemstone. Ruby is obtained by mining Ruby ore underground, and Ruby can also be compressed into a Ruby Block for storage or decoration.

Crafting the Arrows

At a crafting table, combine your arrow ingredients with Ruby to produce Purple Arrow. The recipe is a standard crafting recipe, so place the items in the grid and take the output. Because Purple Arrow is a distinct item from ordinary arrows, keep them in a Quiver so they are ready the moment you draw your bow.

Purple Arrow pairs well with a ranged playstyle. Craft a batch before a trip, store the extras in a Quiver, and carry a Ruby Flute if you want a secondary Ruby-based tool. If you run low, mine more Ruby and repeat the craft.
