How to Get Glowstone Crystal and Glowstone Paste

The Glowstone Crystal is the core ingredient for torches in this mod. You need it to craft Unlit Torches, so securing a supply is your first priority. Gather Glowstone Crystals before you start crafting torches in bulk.

Glowstone Paste

Glowstone Paste is a processed form of the crystal. It is produced through a crafting recipe that involves Glowstone Crystal. Keep both the Crystal and the Paste in mind, because the mod uses them across its recipes. If a recipe calls for Paste, convert Crystals into Paste rather than hunting for a separate resource.

Planning Your Supply

Because the mod only has five items, the progression is short and direct: get Glowstone Crystal, optionally convert some into Glowstone Paste, then craft Unlit Torches and light them with a Matchbox. Stockpile more Crystal than you think you need, since every torch consumes one. Store your Crystals and Paste in a chest near your crafting area so you can quickly craft a fresh batch of Unlit Torches whenever you run low.
