The resource pack gives Nether ores—quartz, gold, and ancient debris—extra visual depth against jagged netherrack and blackstone. The raised three-dimensional edges on these blocks make them distinctly different from their surroundings, even in the Nether's chaotic terrain.

Searching Strategy

For Nether gold: Look for the pronounced 3D geometry standing out from red netherrack. The pack's detail makes gold deposits much easier to spot during fast exploration.

For quartz: The crystal faces on quartz ore now have distinct raised edges. Scan cave walls and open areas for these geometric protrusions.

For ancient debris: While still rare, the pack's improved visuals help you notice it faster when you do encounter it, reducing the chance you'll walk past it.

Lighting Matters

Bringing adequate light sources (torches, lanterns, or glowstone) into the Nether makes the 3D ore geometry cast shadows and highlights. This contrast is what makes the pack's detail actually useful for spotting resources quickly.
