Real Filing Cabinet Capacity and Upgrades

Base Capacity

A Real Filing Cabinet stores items in folders. The number of folders and the number of items each folder holds determine how much the cabinet can carry. A single cabinet is enough for a modest base, but large storage needs more room.

Expanding Capacity

1. Craft additional Real Filing Cabinets and place them side by side.

2. Split your items across cabinets by category.

3. Move overflow into a second cabinet when a folder fills up.

Upgrades

Upgrades change how the cabinet behaves rather than just how much it holds. Apply an upgrade to the cabinet to alter its storage or sorting behaviour. Check which upgrades are available in your version before crafting, since the set can differ between packs.

Capacity Planning

• Count your item types first, then decide how many cabinets you need.
• Reserve one cabinet for bulk items and another for rare items.
• Leave spare folders empty so new items have somewhere to go.
• Pair cabinets with an auto item folder to keep them filled automatically.

Plan capacity around your item types, not just your item count, and the cabinet stays useful as your base grows.
