How to Use the Collection Staff, Love Staff, and Skirmish Staff

Collection Staff

Craft the Collection Staff with its crafting_shaped recipe. Use it to gather items or resources in the area around you so you do not have to walk over every dropped item. Sweep it across a spot where items have piled up after harvesting or combat.

Love Staff

Craft the Love Staff with its crafting_shaped recipe. Use it on rats to manage breeding. Bring two tamed rats close together, apply the Love Staff, and let them pair up so you build a larger group of rats over time. A bigger group means more rats to carry in pouches or keep around your base.

Skirmish Staff

Craft the Skirmish Staff with its crafting_shaped recipe. This is your combat staff for fighting alongside your rats. When enemies approach, use the Skirmish Staff to deal with them while your tamed rats follow and support you.

Combining the Three

Carry all three staffs together. Use the Skirmish Staff to clear threats, the Collection Staff to pick up what drops, and the Love Staff to grow your rat population between fights. Store spare staffs in a chest at your base so you can swap loadouts without losing track of them.
