How to Make Hot Drinks with an Iron Cup

Hot drinks need a container. The Iron Cup is the reusable vessel for every cup in the mod, and it is the first thing to craft.

Crafting the Cup

Craft an Iron Cup using its crafting recipe. You only need one to start, but making a few lets you carry different drinks at once. The cup is used for Cup of Hot Water, Cup of Hot Tea, Cup of Hot Chocolate, Cup of Coffee, and Cup of Iced Tea.

Brewing the Basics

Start with Cup of Hot Water. From there you can prepare Cup of Hot Tea and Cup of Coffee. For chocolate, you need Hot Chocolate Mix, which is crafted separately, then combined into a Cup of Hot Chocolate. Cup of Iced Tea is the cold variant when you want a different drink.

Mixes and Extras

Hot Chocolate Mix is the key intermediate for chocolate drinks, so craft a batch and keep it with your cups. Citrus Drink and Milk Scho-Ka-Kola are separate drink items you can also prepare and carry. Scho-Ka-Kola is its own item, distinct from the cup drinks.

Travel Kit

Carry one Iron Cup, a stack of Hot Chocolate Mix, and your tea and coffee supplies. Brew hot drinks at base, then drink them before heading out. Refill the cup rather than crafting a new one each time.
