How to Repair Random Loot Mod Items

The Repair Path

Random Armor and Random Tool are the mod's gear pieces, and both are repaired through the mod's smelting recipes rather than an anvil. The mod registers two smelting recipes, and Random Essence is the material tied to them.

Steps

1. Collect Random Essence. Open Loot Cases until you have a stack of it — you will need a steady supply if you repair often.

2. Take your damaged Random Armor or Random Tool and combine it with Random Essence in the mod's smelting recipe.

3. Run the recipe. The damaged piece comes out repaired.

Practical Notes

• Repair before a piece breaks entirely. A fully broken item cannot be recovered through this route.
• Keep Random Essence separate from your other materials so you don't accidentally spend it on something else.
• If you are repairing a Random Tool, check whether it carries a trait you want to keep before doing anything else to it. Traits survive repair, but they do not survive careless use of a Trait Subtraction Template.
• There is no separate repair station block in this mod. The repair happens in the smelting step, so any furnace setup you already have works.
