Getting Started with Colored Lighting

Setting Up Radiant Spectrum Logic

This mod reads the dominant color from glowing block textures and casts that shade onto surrounding surfaces. To configure it:

1. Open Minecraft's video settings and locate the mod options in your Sodium settings screen

2. In the General tab, enable the mod and adjust the glow radius to control how far light spreads

3. Toggle GPU calculations for better performance on compatible systems

4. Switch to the Blocks tab to fine-tune specific block types—adjust their glow color and lighting radius individually

Place any glowing block in your world to see colored light automatically cast around it. You can also use in-game commands to place custom light sources anywhere. The mod works with all shader packs and other mods' custom light blocks without requiring patches.
