Crafting the Stinger Sword

What you need first

A Stinger Sword is a shaped crafting recipe. You need Stinger items in hand before you open the crafting grid — there is no way to skip straight to the sword. Get Stinger by defeating a Queen Bee that you spawned with the Queen Bee Spawn Egg.

Making the sword

Open a crafting table and lay out the Stinger items in the shaped pattern the recipe expects. Because the recipe is shaped, the arrangement of ingredients in the grid matters — moving them to different slots produces nothing. Fill the grid exactly as the recipe shows, then pull the Stinger Sword out of the result slot.

If the result slot stays empty, the cause is almost always one of two things: not enough Stinger items, or ingredients placed in the wrong slots for a shaped recipe. Rearrange them and check the count again.

Using it

Equip the Stinger Sword in your main hand. It is the weapon to bring to a Queen Bee fight, and it is also what you use to farm more Stinger drops from further Queen Bee encounters. Keep spare Stinger items in a chest near your crafting table so a replacement sword is one short session away.
