Using the Abacus, Pathfinder Map, and Ambience Disc

The Abacus

Craft an Abacus and hold it to perform arithmetic in-game. It is a handheld calculator item. Keep it in your hotbar while building so you can work out material counts without leaving the game. Store it in a Backpack when not in use.

The Pathfinder Map

The %s Pathfinder Map is a navigation item. Use it to track your position and route while exploring. Because it is a map-type item, keep it in your hotbar or offhand so it is always accessible. Combine it with a Backpack trip: carry the map, a stack of food, and a Loot Chest or two if you plan to mark a new base site.

The Ambience Disc

The Ambience Disc is a disc item. Play it in a jukebox to change the background ambience of an area. Place a jukebox in a build, insert the Ambience Disc, and the surrounding area takes on the disc's ambience. Use it in a library, tavern, or garden to set a mood without adding extra blocks.
