Storing Items in Chests, Loot Chests, and Backpacks

Chest Variants

Quark adds wood-matched chests such as Acacia Chest, Ashen Chest, Azalea Chest, Bamboo Chest, and Birch Chest, plus Trapped Chest versions of each. Craft a chest from the matching planks. Use the wood-matched chests to keep storage visually consistent with your build instead of forcing every chest to look like oak.

Loot Chests such as Acacia Loot Chest, Ashen Loot Chest, Azalea Loot Chest, Bamboo Loot Chest, and Birch Loot Chest are the loot-table variants. Trapped Loot Chests combine both behaviors. Use a Loot Chest where you want a chest that generates loot when placed through world generation or map-making, and a Trapped Loot Chest when you also want the redstone signal of a trapped chest.

Backpacks

The Backpack is a portable storage item. Craft one and carry it to expand your inventory while mining or exploring. Open it to move items in and out without returning to base.

Practical Setup

Keep a Backpack on you for trips, and store overflow in wood-matched chests at home. Use Trapped Chests next to a redstone line when you want a chest to trigger a door, lamp, or piston. Group Loot Chests in adventure areas so players find themed rewards.
